Your ownership responsibilities

As a Honda owner, it is your responsibility to make sure that servicing is arranged at the necessary time and that the service record is kept safe. Appropriate maintenance not only keeps your machine performing safely and efficiently, but also reduces its impact on the environment. Honda warranty

Honda promises to repair or replace any part it supplies that is defective in material or workmanship under normal use up to a certain period of ownership. For commercial usage, the period is up to six months from the date of purchase, and 12 months for non-commercial usage.

To benefit from this warranty, you need to present the original invoice and warranty card to any Al-Futtaim Honda Power Product workshop. It is also important to follow the operational and product care instructions found in the Owner’s Manual. To keep the warranty valid, any regular maintenance needs to be completed by Al-Futtaim Honda and the maintenance record stamped following this work.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The Honda warranty does not cover any repairs or service adjustments that are needed as a result of:

  • Misuse, negligence, modification, disconnection, alteration or tampering
  • Improper adjustments or repairs
  • Parts not supplied by Honda and add-on parts
  • Improper or lack of maintenance
  • Use under abnormal circumstances.

Issues that are not seen to affect quality, function or performance such as noise, vibration or oil seepage are also not covered. This warranty applies only within the UAE and to benefit you must deliver your product to an Al-Futtaim Honda workshop.
